how're you all...
This entire month has been too damn busy for me... as for other ppl too...
2nd Feb'06 to 5th Feb'06 : Kshitij 2006 happened...
this time there were too many days of technical events... even KGPians were sick n tired of it... as was evident from the very low turnout for popuilar events like TechQuila... and the abnormally high turnout at the local bar...
Got loads of movies from the IIT KGP LAN...
City of Angels... Chicken Little... Hyderabad Blues... The Chronicles of Narnia: the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe... A Nightmare on Elm Street... to name a few...
and of course... all seasons of The Wonder Years... I simply love them... as do quite a few ppl on campus.. as it sems from the great demand for it's DVDs...
As for Kshitij... Team Centrifuge managed to clear the preliminary round of Topsy Turvy...
Two more teams participated... Kannan G. and team won the third prize in Avishkar... Team 007 qualified for the finals of Overnite, the overnight coding competition... as did Team Pulse (Pratik Dhaboo and Varun)... Gogoi and Nasseh reached the quarter finals of the Water Polo event... Varun and team qualified for the finals of Nightshift after 3 gruelling rounds of elimination...
These are the achievements of BIT Mesra in Kshitij this year... which saw a markedly dismal participation from the 2k4 batch... c'mon guys... muggu banne se kuch nahi hota...

6th FEb'06 to 9th Feb'06 Drishtant happened...
We touched down in Ranchi on the marning of 6th... at 8:00... attended lectures from 8:50... and then I got busy with Drishtant from 4:10 onwards...
It was a gruelling experience... setting questions for the Debugging contest ... and as a whole the entire fest was as grand a success as it could ever be... apart from the meddlesome administration, and the unco-operative profs... (A special thanks to the profs who actually helped : Mr. T. Ghosh... Prof B.M.Karan... to name a few...) the rest will be named by Atul soon...
Okay guys...
gotta go.. mid sems are up on my head again... and this time.. for the first time in 6 semesters.. I'm actually studying... so long...
